October 26, 2022, Bellevue, Washington – Growth Natives, a fast-growing modern full-stack full-funnel marketing and customer engagement agency, announced today that it has achieved compliance with the data privacy rules defined within HIPAA Title II and the associated protocols.
Being HIPAA compliant means that Growth Natives will remain committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals’ protected health information or PHI in accordance with the defined protocols that are subject to HIPAA.
This is an important milestone for Growth Natives at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed consumers to adapt to technologies faster and healthcare providers to communicate with patients via digital channels, offering contactless care that meets the service standards.
Growth Natives was previously recognized as an ISO 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management System) and ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management System) certified company for successfully abiding by the data privacy management standards and information security management systems, respectively.
“Adding HIPAA compliance to our list of quality and data security certifications, we have paved a way for our healthcare customers to ensure secure patient communications regardless of the channel they use,” says Taran Nandha, founder and CEO, Growth Natives. “Indeed, it is a win-win for everyone.”
About HIPAA
HIPAA or the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 defines the standards and protocols that govern the protection of sensitive patient health information. Organizations with access to protected health information (PHI) must adhere to a set of regulatory measures to avoid penalties. HIPAA was enforced by the OCR and issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
